The Allen-Bradley 1785-L80C15 is a high-performance, modular, and chassis-based programmable logic controller processor engineered by Rockwell Automation. It functions as a central processing unit (CPU) designed to handle complex, large-scale industrial automation and process control systems. The module features integrated ControlNet Phase 1.5 communication support, allowing for deterministic, high-speed control data transfers at rates up to 5 Mbps over RG6 coaxial media cables. |

Equipped with a robust 100K-word battery-backed static RAM user memory, this processor can manage high-density applications and extensive logic programs. It offers expansive input/output capabilities, supporting a total of 3072 maximum I/O points in any mix, or up to 3072 inputs and 2048 outputs in a complementary configuration. Additionally, the front panel features a keyswitch mode selector, status LEDs, and multi-network diagnostic connections. These connections include an onboard serial port supporting DF1 protocol, a Data Highway Plus (DH+) port, and Universal Remote I/O (RIO) channels. |
