Performance & Efficiency

The modem supports 50/125µm or 62.5/125µm multimode duplex fiber through FSMA-1/905 connectors. A documented 200mA fuse protects the unit, while the optical link improves immunity to ground potential and electrical interference.

Application Scenarios

Used between S400 I/O cabinets, remote field stations and control rooms where copper distance or electromagnetic noise is problematic. It is suited to power, metals, pulp and process installations retaining ABB MasterFieldbus hardware.
