The ABB MAG-XM 50XM2000 is a microprocessor-based electromagnetic flowmeter signal converter engineered to translate induced voltages from conductive fluids into highly accurate volumetric data. Operating via steady bipolar pulsed DC magnetic field technology, it drives the field coils of an attached primary flow sensor and filters electrode signals independent of fluid density, viscosity, or heterogeneous consistency. The unit is built with an integrated backlit local matrix display and configuration keys, running advanced auto-monitoring routines that handle continuous fluid monitoring, dual-range automatic flow switching, and density correction values.
Supply Voltage Choices:	Configurable for 24 V AC, 115 V AC, 230 V AC, or 24 V DC electrical networks.
Maximum Power Consumption:	Rated conservatively at ≤ 30 VA maximum power draw.
Analog Current Outputs:	Software-selectable ranges spanning 0–20 mA, 4–20 mA, 0–5 mA, 0–10 mA, or 2–10 mA.
Digital Pulse Output:	Built-in 1-channel standard active pulse output configuration running on an optocoupler isolated path at 24 V.
Ambient Operating Temperature:	Recommended placement limits bounded strictly between -20 °C and +50 °C to eliminate measurement drift.
