Description

The ACS Motion Control HSSI-I016 is a modular, high-speed, distributed I/O expansion module designed to interface with SPiiPlus series motion controllers. It expands the digital I/O capabilities of the control system, allowing for seamless coordination of digital inputs and outputs with complex automation and motion profiles. It communicates via the High-Speed Synchronous Serial Interface (HSSI) protocol.

ü Unit Supply Voltage: 24V DC (±20%) with an integrated Power ON LED indicator.

ü I/O Supply Voltage: External 5V DC (±10%) or 24V DC (±20%) with automatic detection capability.

ü Output Current: Up to 350 mA per individual output, maximum 350 mA per group, and a maximum combined current of 700 mA across all 16 channels.

ü Output Propagation Delay: Less than 1 millisecond.

(3) High-Speed Sensor Integration: Real-time interfacing with manufacturing sensors requiring safe galvanic optical isolation and microsecond-level synchronization.

(4) Pneumatic and Relay Actuation: Driving medium-current automated loads like pneumatic valves, solenoids, or safety interlock relays utilizing the 350 mA group-isolated outputs.
