The Bonitron M3575R-H33BF is an industrial-grade standard-duty resistive braking load module designed to protect variable frequency drives (VFDs) and AC motor systems from dangerous overvoltage faults. When an AC motor undergoes rapid deceleration, it acts as a generator, feeding excess energy back into the drive's internal DC bus bars. The M3575R-H33BF targets this regenerative power spike by acting as a heavy-duty resistive dump, turning the raw excess electricity into thermal energy that safely vents away through its chassis. Equipped with integrated thermal interlock tracking, it protects nearby electrical components by keeping internal cabinet temperatures below critical failure limits during industrial cyclic braking maneuvers.
