The Cognex VPM-8100Q-000 is an industrial PC-based frame grabber board engineered for real-time high-speed video capture and machine vision analysis. Designed as a quad-multiplexed hardware platform, it allows automated production lines to capture high-quality grayscale images from up to four external analog cameras simultaneously. By acting as a PCI bus master, the card unloads image processing tasks and transfers raw optical frames directly into Cognex's host-based vision software libraries (such as VisionPro and PatMax®), enabling fast, sub-pixel accurate calculations for robotic guidance, precise alignment, and defect sorting.
