Product Description
The ELAU DRIVE PS-5 is an intelligent, high-efficiency central power module specifically designed to drive decentralized iSH (Intelligent Servo Head) automation architectures within advanced packaging and material processing machinery. Installed directly inside the control cabinet, the compact PS-5 converts 3-phase AC input voltage into a stable high-voltage DC bus network, enabling a single power unit to cleanly supply and synchronize up to 25 remote integrated servo drives via a simplified tree or line network topology. Equipped with an integrated mains filter, an internal bleeder resistor, and a dedicated real-time SERCOS communication link, it provides complete diagnostic monitoring, system safety boundaries, and exceptional power density to eliminate bulky cabinet layouts.
