The EPRO MMS6250 is a microcontroller-based shaft displacement monitor used in EPRO DAPS digital axial position protection systems. It accepts differential signals from compatible PR 642x eddy-current sensor measuring chains, conditions values proportional to axial displacement, supervises connected sensors and system status, and provides configurable current, voltage, binary, alarm, RS-232, and RS-485 interfaces. Three EPRO MMS6250 monitors can be combined with the appropriate backplane for redundant 2-out-of-3 axial displacement protection.
