Diagnostics & Protection

Use the module status indicators, PROFINET controller diagnostics and the 32 input-status / 32 output-control bits to isolate network, configuration and station faults.

Before replacement, de-energize the station, preserve the assigned device name and IP settings, and inspect the Ethernet shielding, connectors and power-supply condition.

Installation & Upgrades

Mount the scanner at the left end of the VersaMax station and connect no more than eight supported I/O modules. Keep copper links within the documented 100 m segment limit.

Confirm RX3i controller, PROFINET controller and PAC Machine Edition compatibility before loading firmware. Preserve the original station order and validate I/O mapping after recommissioning.
