The GE IC697PCM711 is a single-slot programmable coprocessor module for the Series 90-70 PLC system. It features high-performance direct access to PLC memory, built-in non-volatile battery-backed CMOS logic data retention, a real-time calendar clock, and dedicated physical serial communication channels, allowing it to perform localized computations and continuous complex operator interface management without degrading primary control sweep times. |
ü Microprocessor architecture: 12 MHz, 80C186 microprocessor providing approximately 90% of standard IBM AT performance
ü On-board Memory: Up to 96 Kbytes of battery-backed CMOS logic and data memory
ü Current Consumption: Requires a steady 1.0 Amp maximum from the 5V system bus
ü Battery Specification: Utilizes a lithium battery featuring a 10-year shelf life at 20°C and a nominal 6-month memory retention rating
ü Operating Temperature: 0 °C to +60 °C (32 °F to 140 °F) ambient cabinet temperature
