The GE IC698RMX016 is a high-performance Redundancy Memory Xchange (RMX) module designed for the PACSystems RX7i platform. It serves as either a node on a reflective memory network or as a dedicated high-speed data link between two CPUs in a redundant (Hot Standby) system. The module enables deterministic, sub-microsecond data sharing and synchronization without burdening the main CPU.
