The KUKA KSD1-16 is a modular single-axis plug-in servo drive controller designed to be installed inside KR C2 robotic cabinets. It functions as the primary power output stage for an individual robot manipulator axis, transforming the high-voltage intermediate DC bus link into precisely managed AC waveforms. Through dedicated Interbus-based communication linked directly to the primary industrial computer, it translates system positioning instructions into highly synchronized motor axis movements on the factory floor. |
