Product MA-0186-100 | Splitter

The MODICON MA-0186-100 is an industrial-grade coaxial network trunk splitter and signal combiner designed to facilitate network branching and multi-controller interfacing within Modicon Remote I/O (RIO) cable systems. Primarily utilized in 984 Hot Standby configurations, this high-integrity passive component splits electrical signals equally across its three integrated ports with a 6 dB attenuation per port. Enclosed in a rugged, RFI/EMI shielded housing, the device maintains vital impedance balancing and ensures exceptionally high isolation between trunk segments to eliminate signal reflections and data collisions in time-critical factory automation environments.
