The Parker 5703-1 is a DIN-rail mounted communications converter module designed to copy and synchronize operational setpoints from a reference drive to one or more follower drives. It interfaces directly with a drive's P3 communication port via an included 400mm serial ribbon cable, capturing the RS-232 level data without altering the underlying 16-bit signal. The module converts these electrical signals into high-speed fiber-optic pulses.
