The PSS SB 3006-3 ETH-2 DP-S combines standard and failsafe control functions with six digital inputs, two test-pulse outputs and two SafetyBUS p interfaces. Integrated Ethernet and PROFIBUS-DP support established networked safety architectures.

Diagnostics & Protection
Use the four-digit display, operating LEDs, SafetyBUS p status indicators and error stack to distinguish controller, supply, fieldbus and application faults before hardware replacement.
De-energize the system and preserve the validated safety program. Never bypass failsafe circuits during troubleshooting; verify 24 V DC supply, terminations and protective-earth connection.
Installation & Upgrades
Install vertically in an IP20 control enclosure with the documented clearances. Reconnect SafetyBUS p, Ethernet and PROFIBUS-DP exactly as recorded in the installed project.
Before restart, restore network addresses, termination settings and the approved application. Functional safety validation must be repeated after replacement or upgrade.
