The PROCESSELEKTRONIK PE1364B DDCS-MODBUS TCP is a specialized industrial protocol converter module developed to tap into, read, and interpret data traffic on fiber-optic DDCS networks and map those registers directly onto a Modbus TCP framework. Housed in a heavy-duty shielded metal enclosure, the module can emulate up to 8 distinct slave nodes on an ABB ModuleBus or DriveBus link, establishing high-speed translation across disparate field devices without adding processing overhead to the master CPU.
