The Siemens 6DP1900-8AA is a high-performance monitoring and signalling module from the SYS900 series, engineered for seamless integration into the Siemens Teleperm XP distributed control system. It installs directly within specific subrack models (such as the FUM B Subrack EU 901 or APF Subrack EU 910) to actively track system state parameters, handle internal system diagnostics, and coordinate background signal routing. As a critical asset in legacy plant networks, it serves to ensure centralized hardware safety oversight, and in newer configurations, its operational functions are commonly transitioned over to advanced FUM210 modules.
