General Description:
The Siemens 6DS1144-8AA is an advanced, high-reliability input/output bus comparator and switchover interface module engineered for legacy distributed control frameworks. Operating as a critical hardware node inside fault-tolerant redundant automation stations, this unit is tasked with continuously tracking and comparing parallel I/O bus signals to guarantee structural data integrity and prevent calculation mismatches. If a fault, bus collision, or upstream hardware degradation is detected on the active channel, the card instantly triggers an automated, high-speed hardware switchover routine to redirect execution lines to the secondary backup assembly.
l Logic Board Operating Voltage: Runs on a primary internal supply rail of +5 V DC directly.
l Auxiliary Bus Signaling Voltage: Integrates with standard isolated 24 V DC.
l Base Logic Current Draw: Typically consumes an operational current of 1.0 A to 1.4 A.
l Ambient Operating Temperature: Functions reliably across typical industrial control cabinet frameworks from 0 °C to +55 °C.
