INSTALLATION & UPGRADE

Insert the module into the designated IF slot of a supported S7-400 CPU and connect the PROFIBUS network through the 9-pin Sub-D connector. Legacy documentation requires the applicable CPU firmware level and limits the supported number of IF modules by CPU family.
