The SST-PFB-PLC5 is a ProfiBus DP master/scanner coprocessor module designed to enable an Allen-Bradley PLC-5 processor to connect to and operate as a master on a ProfiBus DP network . The module installs directly in a 1771 I/O chassis, adjacent to the PLC-5 processor . It features three communication interfaces: a 9-pin female D-shell for ProfiBus DP (RS‑485), a 9-pin male D-shell RS-232 for PC-based configuration using the SST ProfiBus Configuration Tool, and a 58-pin processor interface that connects to the PLC-5’s parallel port . |
