The Xycom 9000-EXF is a ruggedized, industrial-grade external 3.5-inch floppy disk drive subsystem designed to provide offline media storage for factory automation terminals. Built as a mountable peripheral option, it interfaces directly with a host industrial PC via a dedicated, secure back-panel connector to handle critical field operations such as system booting, localized program loading, operating system configuration, and raw data logging. |

Integrated Strain-Relief Architecture: Outfitted with a physical cable-clamp screw position on the rear of the enclosure to prevent inadvertent data drops caused by loose communication wires. |
