Allen-Bradley 1756-M16SE
The Allen-Bradley 1756-M16SE is a high-performance, chassis-based 16-Axis Sercos interface servo module designed for high-density motion architectures within the ControlLogix ecosystem. It utilizes the standard IEC 61491 SERCOS (Serial Real-time Communication System) protocol over a fiber-optic network loop.By replacing traditional ±10V analog wiring arrays with a single fiber-optic ring connection, the 1756-M16SE provides noise-immune, high-speed, real-time synchronization for up to 16 physical servo drives. It manages complex multi-axis gearing, camming, and multi-axis coordinated linear or circular interpolation profiles, entirely offloading position loop processing from the main controller CPU.
