Allen-Bradley 1775-MEA Description
|
The Allen-Bradley 1775-MEA is a legacy memory storage component engineered for the PLC-3 programmable logic controller platform. Occupying a single slot within the main PLC-3 chassis, this module expands the user available memory workspace by offering 64K words of high-density volatile RAM capacity. Its primary architectural distinction is its advanced Error Correction Coding (ECC) logic, which automatically handles real-time data recovery and prevents program corruption caused by electromagnetic interference or system fluctuations. To ensure maximum industrial uptime, the module interfaces with the central processor via four 50-pin backplane connectors and is backed by a 3.0V Lithium battery circuit on its front faceplate to successfully retain volatile memory parameters during complete system power losses. |
