The 1794-TB2 is an industrial-grade distributed automation infrastructure component developed by Allen-Bradley brand. It is designed specifically to serve as a modular terminal base unit within the popular FLEX I/O platform. The primary purpose of this hardware component is to provide a unified physical mounting and backplane routing mechanism where digital, analog, or process-specific I/O modules can securely snap into position. It establishes electrical connections between the input/output modules and the main FLEX communication adapter via an integrated internal FlexBus backplane channel.
