The 1794-TBN is an industrial-grade distributed automation infrastructure component developed by Allen-Bradley brand. Designed as a foundational component for the globally deployed FLEX I/O platform, this device functions as a specialized terminal base unit. Its primary purpose is to provide the underlying physical mounting, mechanical locking, and digital/analog signal backplane routing via an integrated internal FlexBus channel. This allows any standard active Bulletin 1794 operational module to snap directly into place and link with the node's main communication adapter.
