Firmware & Updates
The base contains no user-upgradable firmware. Firmware control belongs to the installed gateway and controller; record their revisions and system software level before disturbing the assembly.

Verify gateway type, terminal mapping, field cable identification, grounding and rail or panel mounting. Reconnect only against the approved wiring schedule and perform continuity checks before inserting electronics.
