The ABB INFI90 INFI 90 is a high-reliability industrial network module designed to handle high-speed, deterministic data communication within a distributed control architecture. Operating as a critical node interface, it manages the protocol translation and traffic routing between local process control units and the central plant-wide highway (Infi-Net). By utilizing onboard microprocessors and dedicated communication logic, it unloads network management overhead from the primary function processors, ensuring millisecond-level synchronization, robust fault tolerance, and uninterrupted data flow across harsh industrial environments.
