The ABB PM645B is a powerful and compact Central Processing Unit (CPU) module engineered for the ABB Ability System 800xA distributed control system. As the core processor of the AC 800M controller family, it is designed to execute complex regulatory, sequential, and safety-related control logic with exceptional speed and determinism. Designed for critical, high-availability applications, it features a built-in hardware redundancy link that allows for bumpless switchovers in hot-standby configurations to prevent downtime.
