The ABB SAFT132CBS SAFT 132 CBS is an industrial supervision and monitoring board assembly engineered to manage diagnostic operations within high-power variable frequency drives (VFDs). Positioned inside the drive's control cabinet, this critical logic module functions as a centralized safety monitor by continuously tracking incoming system health parameters. The board operates on standard low-voltage logic directly distributed from the main backplane or control bus. It features an integrated processor array and localized physical diagnostic LED indicators to trace operating signals, log drive faults, and trigger automated hardware trips to prevent destructive over-current or over-voltage conditions in heavy-duty factory machinery.
