General Description
The Allen-Bradley 1746-NT8 is an 8-channel thermocouple/millivolt (mV) analog input module designed for the SLC 500 PLC system. It features an on-board 16-bit signed resolution converter that precisely translates low-level sensor signals into digital data format for the CPU without requiring external signal conditioners. The module features a removable terminal block with integrated cold-junction compensation (CJC) sensors for accurate temperature readings. Each of its eight input channels is independently configurable for various thermocouple types or mV ranges.
