The Allen-Bradley 1756-IC16 is a 16-point discrete DC input module designed for the ControlLogix platform. Operating with sinking input logic, it converts external high-state digital signals into internal logic states across 16 channels divided into 8 points per group. It is a single-slot module that is hot-swappable for replacement without system downtime. It is an isolated input module, meaning it provides electrical isolation between inputs and the backplane, making it suitable for applications where isolation is required. |
