Functional Description

The Allen-Bradley 1769-IM12 is a 12-point digital input module designed for the CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 control systems. The slice-type hardware assembly features 12 independent, high-voltage input channels grouped into distinct hardware circuits to facilitate mixed wiring paths across industrial machinery. The module features optical isolation for noise immunity, a removable terminal block for easy wiring and maintenance, and LED status indicators for each channel. It occupies a single slot and is designed for DIN rail or panel mounting.
