Diagnostics & Protection

Review channel OK, alert and danger status through the paired 3500/60 monitor. Compare abnormal readings with sensor resistance, thermocouple polarity and field-wiring continuity before replacing the I/O module.

Internal barriers are part of the signal path. De-energize affected circuits, follow hazardous-area procedures and inspect internal terminations for looseness, corrosion or damaged conductors.

Installation & Upgrades

Install in the rear rack position associated with the matching 3500/60 monitor. Preserve sensor type, channel allocation, barrier configuration and internal termination routing.

After changeover, verify RTD or thermocouple configuration, scaling and alarm setpoints in the rack configuration. Perform a controlled channel check before returning protection functions to service.
