The total probe length is 0.5 meter (1.6 feet), terminated with a miniature coaxial ClickLoc™ connector and standard cable for reliable signal transmission. It carries multiple hazardous area approvals including CSA, ATEX, and IECEx, making it suitable for global installations in explosive atmospheres. The 8 mm probe design provides thicker encapsulation of the probe coil in molded PPS plastic, resulting in a more rugged probe body. The larger diameter also offers a stronger, more robust case.

Bently Nevada recommends using 8 mm probes whenever possible for optimal resistance against physical abuse.
