TK-3 Series
The TK-3 series Electric Drive is a calibration tool from Bently Nevada for rotating machinery proximity probe systems and vibration monitoring systems. Typical models include the BentlyNevada TK-3E (Electric Drive) or its predecessor, the BentlyNevada TK-3E (Proximity System Test Kit). This series simulates shaft vibration and shaft diameter position changes to verify the performance of proximity probe systems (Proximitor/Proximity Probe) and related monitoring instruments.
➫Key functions include: Moving a target closer to/away from the probe detection position monitoring link using a spindle micrometer.
➫Generating mechanical vibrations of known amplitude using a motor-driven wobble-plate, with the probe mounted on the wobble structure, to calibrate the vibration monitor output.
➫The system supports universal mounting across a wide range of probe diameters and facilitates field calibration, maintenance, and acceptance testing.
