General Description
The 30-40382-02 BA353 is an industrial-grade universal internal switching power supply unit engineered specifically for the DEC StorageWorks BA353 desktop expansion chassis. It converts alternating current (AC) power sourced from facility grids into multiple highly regulated low-voltage direct current (DC) rails required to energize the system backplane. This high-reliability module features built-in overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection circuits to ensure that heavy mechanical startup loads from magnetic drives do not cause voltage drops or damage connected server logic hardware.
