General Description

The EPRO PR9268/301-000 is a robust, self-powered electrodynamic velocity sensor designed for precise absolute vibration measurement of rotating machinery. Utilizing an internal mechanical spring-mass assembly with a permanent magnet and a moving coil, it converts seismic velocity vibrations into a proportional analog voltage signal entirely without needing an external driving current. This sensor is specifically calibrated for horizontal measurement orientation and is widely used for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance of critical turbomachinery.

Frequency Range: 4 to 1000 Hz

Vibration Amplitude (Max): ±1500 μm (peak-peak)

Natural Frequency: 4.5 Hz ± 0.75 Hz at 20°C

Damping Factor: ~0.56 at 20°C; ~0.42 at 100°C

Operating Temperature: -20°C to +100°C

Sensitivity: 28.5 mV/mm/s (723.9 mV/in/s) ±5% at 80 Hz, 20°C, with 100 kΩ load
