The Emerson EPRO PR6424/000-000 CON21 is a non-contact eddy current proximity sensor module engineered for precise, high-resolution measurement of shaft displacement, vibration, and position in critical rotating machinery. By generating a high-frequency electromagnetic field, the sensor detects dynamic gaps between its probe tip and a moving ferromagnetic shaft without making physical contact. It captures real-time, wear-free data regarding micro-vibrations, radial shaft displacement, axial thrust positioning, and rotational shaft speed, preventing catastrophic mechanical failures inside severe plant environments.
