The GE HE693IBS100 is a specialized PLC I/O interface module that bridges GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLC systems with Horner Electric automation components. Developed by Horner APG / Horner Electric, this intelligent I/O module plugs directly into the 90-30 PLC baseplate, providing a seamless high-speed communication link between the host GE PLC and a remote INTERBUS-S master controller. It handles all fieldbus protocol processing independently on its onboard hardware, minimizing CPU overhead while allowing the exchange of discrete and analog I/O data over long distances across the factory floor.
