The GE IC693PBS105 is a high-performance PROFIBUS DP Slave communication module designed to integrate a Series 90-30 PLC system into a broader industrial PROFIBUS network. It functions as an intelligent interface that allows a host master controller to read digital/analog I/O data from, and write control commands to, the Series 90-30 PLC rack over a high-speed serial bus. Occupying a single slot on any standard Series 90-30 baseplate, the module handles all the complex underlying bus protocol processing automatically, enabling seamless, deterministic real-time communication between third-party hardware and the GE PLC ecosystem.

a. Backplane Power Consumption: Draws 350 mA maximum from the standard 5 VDC PLC backplane power supply rail.

b. Network Data Capacity: Supports up to 244 bytes of input data and up to 244 bytes of output data per slave device node.

c. Communication Interface: Equipped with one physical 9-pin female D-Sub (DB9) connector for PROFIBUS DP connection.

d. Operating Temperature: 0°C to 60°C (32°F to 140°F) standard ambient environment inside the electrical enclosure.

e. Storage Temperature: -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F).
