The GE IC697CMM742 is a single-slot Ethernet communication module for the Series 90-70 PLC platform. Occupying a single chassis slot, it enables seamless networking capabilities and can be easily configured using standard IC641 PLC programming software. The module is uniquely equipped with three types of built-in network communication ports—10BaseT (RJ-45), 10Base2 (BNC), and a 15-pin AUI D-connector—and features an automatic selection mechanism that detects and switches to the active network port in use.
