02DIAGNOSTICS & DEPLOYMENTPROTECTION / INSTALLATION
Diagnostics & Protection
Use the fault indicator and open-collector status output to separate supply, motor, command and thermal faults. Check the DC bus before changing settings.
Disable the DC source and allow bus discharge before touching terminals. Keep motor power, feedback and logic wiring separated and correctly grounded.

Installation & Upgrades
Mount the drive with documented convection clearance, then match motor phase current, pulse format and direction polarity to the machine design.
Preserve P7000Tools settings and microstep resolution. Validate the motor current, acceleration profile and command frequency before production.
