The KFD2-STC5-1 is a 1-channel signal conditioner / SMART transmitter power supply from Pepperl+Fuchs. 

It is designed to supply and condition the signal from 2-wire or 3-wire SMART transmitters (HART, BRAIN, Foxboro protocols) and to provide isolation between the field side and control side.

Supply voltage (rated): 18 … 30 V DC 

Power Rail or terminal supply 24 V DC (Power Rail) available. 

Input side: supports 2-wire and 3-wire SMART transmitters + 2-wire SMART current sources. 

Output side: 4…20 mA current sink or current source (or 0/4….20 mA according to variant) 

Load on output: up to ~800 Ω (for the control side) in typical use. 

Galvanic isolation: Input / Output basic insulation rated ~300 V eff per IEC 61010-1. 

Ambient temperature: –20 °C to +70 °C.
