01Prepare the PROFIBUS cable and land the conductors in the screw terminals.

PASSIVE DEVICEThe connector contains no firmware, software image or parameter file.

02Route the cable through the 35° outlet and secure the plug to the 9-pole interface.

UPDATE SCOPEMaintenance is mechanical and electrical; no firmware update procedure applies.

03Enable the integrated terminating resistor only at the relevant segment end.

NETWORK CHECKConfirm cable polarity, shield continuity and bus termination after service.

04After replacement, verify bus continuity, shielding and station communication.
