The YOKOGAWA AAT141-S00 S2 is a high-density, 16-channel isolated temperature and millivolt analog input module designed to interface field sensor data with an industrial control backplane. It functions as a precise signal conditioner that receives raw inputs directly from thermocouples (TC) and low-voltage millivolt (mV) sources, converting microscopic physical thermal differentials into structured, linearized digital metrics for host processing architectures. Equipped with full channel-to-channel and channel-to-system electrical isolation, the hardware supports continuous signal processing, integrated cold-junction compensation, and dual-redundant configuration modes to safeguard core system data from line-noise injection and ground loop faults on heavy factory floors.
