It functions as a robust signal tracking interface by receiving continuous, discrete 24 V DC ON/OFF binary status inputs directly from field hardware. Equipped with built-in electronic filtering and optical isolation barriers, the unit safeguards core system processors against voltage ripples and line-noise spikes. Furthermore, it natively supports dual-redundant deployment configurations, ensuring seamless process automation tracing and uninterrupted system telemetry if a component failure occurs.
