The GE IS200EISBH1A is a specialized, high-speed printed circuit board assembly developed. Known functionally as the Exciter ISBus Board, it serves as a critical communication interface within turbine control and excitation architectures. It is specifically designed to sit in a single slot of a 3U control rack directly beneath the DSPX digital signal processor module. The board's primary role is to manage and orchestrate real-time, high-speed fiber-optic feedback communications between the system's core control modules (M1, M2, and C controllers). By converting and routing incoming variable frequency signals (such as generator field voltages and currents) through its backplane connector to the DSPX processor, the EISB provides the essential data exchange framework required for robust, localized, and redundant excitation control systems.
