Based on the 6GK7542-5DX00-0XE0 with conformal coating, the CM 1542-5 connects an S7-1500 station to PROFIBUS DP. It supports DP master and DP device operation, S7 and PG/OP communication, time-of-day synchronization and diagnostics across an extended SIPLUS temperature range.
