DIAGNOSTICS & PROTECTION

A dedicated tachometer-monitoring track supports encoder feedback supervision. Galvanically isolated inputs separate field signals from the controller. Use screened cables with shield grounding at both ends; enclosure protection must be provided by the host cabinet and condensation is not permitted.

INSTALLATION & UPGRADE

Snap the DTI board onto its mounting rail and connect either X401 for TTL or X402 for HTL, never both. Use screened cables and an isolated external 24 V supply where required. Configure the applicable SIMOVERT parameters for the installed controller and slot.

MONITORING & CONTROL

Pulse tracks A and B plus the tachometer-monitoring signal are forwarded to CU2, CUVC, CUVP or TSY electronics. Encoder status and speed feedback are evaluated through the configured SIMOVERT drive parameters.
